We will continue to carry Monat products (owned by an American immigrant family) because they have announced that they themselves will absorb any tariffs put onto their products entering Canada. What’s even more important is that they employ a very large number of Canadians in their Ontario based warehouse/call center and use Canada Post for shipping.

BIG NEWS!

Tara is retiring! Well not really retiring but hanging up her shears. Rest assured, you will still be seeing her around the salon working on the business and with the team.

Friday March 14th will be Tara’s last day behind the chair. We know changing your hairdresser can be very traumatic but please don’t worry as we do have team members who have been trained by Tara (and now far exceed her abilities) in everything from extensions and keratin treatments to colouring and cutting techniques, so you can feel confident in the stylist she chooses as the perfect match for you.

“The past 30 years behind the chair have been amazing, my career has certainly been one to envy. From attending amazing fancy hairdressing events to working at hair shows, having the opportunity to teach many aspiring stylists the trade and meeting so many incredible people who have trusted me with their hair (and deepest secrets)! Now, in the later stages of my career, I am really blessed to be able to focus on what I’ve found I’m now loving the most, which is mentoring others and all that encompasses the business behind the chair!”

*** IMPORTANT REMINDER – OUR BOOKING SYSTEM ***

We have had a lot of emails/calls/feedback regarding not being able to log in to our booking system.

Please remember we have a new booking system. We’ve discovered most of the issues are resulting in the fact that a user account has not been created in our system. If you are having issues logging in to book an appointment, you probably have not yet created a user account on our new system. Please go ahead and do so and feel free to call us if you’re having any challenges!

Parking

The Quay is currently re-surfacing the parking lot under the building. While this is being done in stages and there is still parking available, space is limited. Here are a few other parking options:

• The ICBC lot now has spaces available for the general public during the day
• The new building across the street from the Quay has underground public parking
• Chadwick Court (on the other side of the bus depot) parking lot
• The Pinnacle Hotel parking lot
• The Shipyards underground parking

Donation Requests

Are you helping your school/church/girl guides/boy scouts/youth band/etc with some virtual fundraising (online auction perhaps)?

Fill out our donation request form and email us your donation request letter for a product and/or gift certificate donation.

Cancellation Policy

Just a gentle reminder that we do ask for a minimum of 48 hours notice when cancelling appointments.

We have reserved time especially for you and “no shows” and late cancellations will result in a service charge and/or the loss of the opportunity to book future appointments with us. Thank You in advance for extending this courtesy to your stylist and other clients who may be on a waiting list.

(Some exceptions may apply)
