The make up trends for this fall/ winter include big bold lips with natural eyes. Hot colours include reds, purples and deep blues. We’ve just received La Bioesthetique’s beautiful collection of lip pencils, glosses and creams just in time for the holidays!
When choosing eye shadow/lip colours keep in mind the undertone of your skin, the colour of your eyes and the colour wheel. Complimentary colours lie opposite each other on the wheel- if you have green eyes, violet hues of shadow will make them POP.
Application
SMOKEY EYE
Use a black eye liner pencil to line the top lid and an eye shadow brush to blend the liner working towards the brow. Repeat this until desired darkness is achieved.
BRIGHT EYE
Using a white/light shimmery eye shadow, make a circle on the middle of your eye lid right above your iris. Keeping the middle of your eye lid at its lightest, use a darker shade of shadow on the corners of your eyes and blend it AROUND the lightest point of the eye. Add a white eye liner on your bottom water line to make your eyes look bigger. Doing this will make your eye colour pop while making your eyes seem larger.
If you’re looking for a way to stand out in the crowd at your holiday party this year, pick up some Ben Nye glitter glue and some craft glitter. Mix them together in a seperate container and using an eye shadow brush apply it to your eye lid.
Blend out the sparkles with a clean and dry eyeshadow brush.
