This is the time of year, we see a lot of clients coming in wanting to lighten up their dark locks, brighten pieces around their face and/or give their hair a “sun kissed” look. Some clients come in
wanting to add shine and warmth to their blondes that have become dull through the winter.
There are a few things to consider when changing your hair colour such as your skin tone, the colours of clothing you wear and your current make up tones. Your colour either needs to compliment your fashion and beauty choices or you may need to switch things up a little!
When you change your hair colour (and even when you change your hair cut), you may find that you also need to explore the idea of investing in new glasses! For example, your glasses may be red and you’ve decided to make your brown hair copper! Red frames may not compliment your new copper hair as well as green or tortoise shell frames would. Your large round frames may no longer work with your new heavy long fringe or curtain bangs. This is when you may want to go visit an optometrist to explore the purchase of some new frames!
